Ryan Shaw got his break after winning the ITV DJ talent documentary ‘The Joy Of Decks’ where he was mentored by Tom Middleton. Shortly after this he bagged a residency at legendary Leeds club Back to Basics, where he more than proved himself as a worthy winner with his sets of (in his own words), “ filtered sounds, squeaks, beeps and b-b-b-basslines!”. He has DJed around the world on the Smirnoff Experience tour, mixed a covermount CD for Mixmag and is currently resident at much loved London clubbing institution DDD. The best thing to come out of Halifax…ever? We think so.
