Sub Focus was catapulted into the consciousness of the drum & bass scene in 2003 when his early releases on Ram Records’ sister label Frequency, such as ‘Down the Drain’ and ‘Acid Test’ made him an instant one to watch. However, it was with the first airings given to an Andy C dubplate of a track called ‘X Ray’ that really got people talking. It became an anthem overnight, and as endorsements for your tracks go, they don’t come much bigger than Andy C. The track, a slamming five minutes of pounding bass and searing synths was one of the tunes of the year and made Sub Focus one of the figureheads of the new school of talent in drum & bass. Since then, his tracks have continued to litter the sets of all the A-list DJs, most of all Andy’s, whilst his own DJ sets have made him a big name on the club circuit. The prospect of a Sub Focus album on the horizon has got ravers the world over frothing at the mouth, watch this space…

easy sub ive bin to all the rams in the past year to come c u just was hopin u could give me sum advise on the production side of things like where to go next ive started with reason and a midi keyboard and i was wounderin whats the best option to go n learn more in mabey collage wise or even a beter set up i av about 3 grand to spend on get in some beter equitment n stuff and i just wana get beter coz the ideas in my head that i want i dont no enough to expess on to the software ne advise would be much appreshated
