Holic promoter and resident DJ Tomoki Tamura is a native of Osaka, Japan, where he built his solid reputation as one of Japan’s most promising young DJs.  With a succession of top residencies to his name in some of Japan’s best clubs and a series of commercially successful mix albums, ‘The Groove Café Series’, he had developed a cult following.  After relocating to the UK in 2004, he set about transferring his reputation to European shores.  He quickly begun picking up bookings at some of London’s top clubs, before launching his own night at AKA, Holic, which has become one of of the capital’s most popular and well respected Thursday night events for lovers of underground house.  Hosted by his own DJ collective and with a focus on great visuals and top guests, which have so far included Terry Farley, Jimpster, Rocky from XPress 2 and Andrew Weatherall the party grows month on month.
